ART 205 - Sculpture for Non-Majors

3 cr.
This course is an introduction to the basic techniques and construction methods of sculpture. Coursework will explore the fundamentals of three-dimensional design principles, basic sculpture concepts, techniques and materials. Structured assignments will explore addition, subtraction and casting techniques. Students are introduced to traditional and contemporary practices in sculpture. Corequisite(s): ART 131Z.
