ART 130Z - Fundamentals of Sculpture

3 cr.
An introduction to three-dimensional form and space.  Structured assignments will explore addition, subtraction and casting techniques.  Students are introduced to representational, abstract, traditional and contemporary practices in sculpture.  The course will explore aesthetic, historical, and structural issues of three dimensional reality and related concepts.  Prerequisite(s): ART 104Z . Corequisite(s): ART 131Z. Four hours.
