ART 330Z - Advanced Sculpture

3 cr.
A series of topics and issues are presented and discussed to broaden students’ awareness of materials, working processes and concepts of sculpture.  Course work will introduce more advanced tools, materials and techniques and expand knowledge of aesthetic, historical, structural and contemporary practices in sculpture.  Students will further develop skills and techniques to create sculptures.  Projects will build on concepts and techniques learned in previous courses and attention will be given to effective expression of ideas. Prerequisite(s): ART 130Z .  ART 230Z. Corequisite(s): ART 331Z. Four hours.
