PHE 159 - Cooking for Health


This course is designed to teach students the basic principles of preparing nutritional meals, and recipe modifications that promote healthy eating and disease prevention. Students will learn the basic tools necessary to setting up a healthier kitchen that will encourage them to make wiser lifestyle choices. Students will be introduced to a wide variety of foods and develop awareness of the health benefits associated with each.
