Visiting Student Program

Return to Academic Programs Return to: Academic Programs

Under a state-wide program, a College of New Rochelle student may attend another participating institution in New York for a semester or for a full year. Students register for at least 12 credits for each semester. Students accept full responsibility for tuition and fees at the institutions they visit. This program is approved by the New York State Education Department, and transferability of Regents Scholarship and TAP Awards is assured.

A student who wishes to be a visiting student must complete a Visiting Student Form which is available in the dean’s office. The student must get approval from the faculty advisor for the courses she will complete.

The grades will be converted according to the quality point scale and included in the student’s cumulative index. Students who have completed 75 credits cannot take courses for credit at two-year colleges.
